Scam Alert: Fake “Package Could Not Be Delivered” Texts Are Surging
Our community reported a wave of fake delivery texts this week. Here is what they look like and what to do if you clicked.
Sample article included with the theme demo. Numbers mentioned are fictional 555 numbers.
Each number page shows a community rating, how many people reported it, what type of call it was and when reports started. A sudden spike usually means an active campaign.
A caution about spoofing
Scammers often borrow real numbers. If a page shows a verified business badge, the owner has proven the number is theirs, and recent scam reports may mean it is being spoofed. When in doubt, contact the business using its official website.
