Called my 80-year-old father three times this morning. He almost went to the store for gift cards. Please warn your parents about this one.

Got this one yesterday too. Blocked.
Same script as everyone else: "final notice", "warrant", "press 1". Blocked and reported to the FTC.
Reported to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov. Everyone should.
They called my mother as well. Spread the word.
Same call here. Thanks for posting, I almost picked up.
Pressed 1 to see what they would say. A man with a thick accent demanded I pay back taxes today with gift cards from a pharmacy. When I asked for his badge number he hung up.
They had my first name and my street name. Said I owed $4,800. Government agencies do not call and threaten you like this.
Robotic voice said a lawsuit had been filed against me by the "IRS tax division" and I would be arrested unless I pressed 1. The real IRS sends letters first. Hung up.
Thank you for this. Same thing happened to my neighbor yesterday.
Left a voicemail saying my social security number was "suspended due to suspicious activity". Total scam. Do not call back.
